No, it doesn’t involve selling popcorn to strangers off of the street! Home cinema has come to be a catch-all term for a system that plays music and movies with a TV or projector and an external speaker system of some kind, usually surround sound. The whole idea is to recreate as accurately as possible the picture and sound quality of a cinema auditorium.
