Batman: Arkham Knight is developer Rocksteady’s swan song in the trilogy of Arkham games. Set in a time where Batman has reached the peak of his abilities, he has his eyes on the villain Scarecrow who has left the city starved of its citizens thanks to a toxic plan. Arkham Knight promises the same gritty style and substance of previous releases, while adding the eagerly awaited Batmobile! Expect a little less subtlety in the explosive and eponymous Arkham Knight.

Over the years this franchise has grown as strong as the machines it takes its name from. This fifth helping continues Snake’s story with the protagonist finding himself up against Soviet forces in Afghanistan. The welcome addition of open world play is a huge bonus, with even more freedom to explore – or at least fight for!
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Due May 2015
Available to pre-order on PC, PS4 & Xbox One
For many people The Witcher series is the pinnacle of story driven role playing action games, and this final act in the series promises the same rich narrative based action. These are just a few of the biggest games to keep us excited about this year but look out for other popular titles like; Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Street Fighter 5, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege and Halo 5 to name just a few. With so many trilogies coming to an end and the introduction of a few next-gen first releases, 2015 is definitely the year to pick up the latest console.
