Blaupunkt is a German manufacturer who initially established itself as an audio company, but in recent years has dipped its toe in the television market. It offers great value sets at very competitive prices.
The 32/133i is its latest offering; a 32 inch HD Ready television that features an LED backlit screen. This offers true to life colours and a fantastic peak brightness. Pairing this panel with Blaupunkt’s AMR100 processing means there’s little to no motion judder. Inside is a Freeview tuner, with more than enough channels to get us through those winter months.
The 32/133i certainly doesn’t scrimp on connectivity either, as there’s more than enough inputs for most households. Three HDMI inputs one USB which features USB playback for any movies, or pictures you may have stored on your device; a SCART socket for older bits of kit, giving you the option to blow the cobwebs off of your VHS player, or even introduce a classic games console! As well as that, there’s also a VGA-PC and a coaxial in case you feel the need to upgrade the sound quality with an optional TV soundbar.
It’s not all… this Blaupunkt offers a very slim black bezel, which is aesthetically pleasing, ticking all the right boxes and would fit in very well in a modern home.
Overall, the Blaupunkt 32/133i is a fantastic little set with little to no faults. Perfect if you’re after a basic set or a secondary set for the bedroom perhaps.
