The song starts at a stumbling pace – the guitar reverberates and the twang of the strings feel warm. The vocals are then introduced, as the flow is mirrored in the acoustic guitar. Poignant lyrics are layered over smooth backing vocals.
The poetical, almost spoken words seamlessly move into a haunting chorus that builds the track. The pace of the song sways as the guitar continues to stamp out the trippy rhythm. OMAR DON’T SCARE manage to leap from the introspective and metaphysical, to social and global issues. We found ourselves listening time and time again to Alberquerque Sun.
