With their minimal borders and super-slim depth, 32″ TV’s have been brilliantly re-positioned as a kitchen or bedroom option, giving a nice, big picture, but in a small enough package to be a space-saving solution…

The Sony KDL32WD603 is the perfect example of this, with its clean, cool lines, fantastic picture and wealth of features.

Features such as Sony’s X-Reality PRO and Motionflow XR200 are included in the specs for this set. The former is designed to reduce picture noise, as well as improving detail levels. Motionflow XR200 meanwhile is Sony’s motion-processing engine, giving footage with fast action and movement a more stable and smooth image.

Freeview HD is another nice addition, giving Freeview users the full range of HD services (dependant on location) available in the UK. And with Wi-Fi built in, the Sony’s range of Smart apps, including YouTube, is just a button touch away, too. Screen mirroring from Smart phones and tablets is another great way to access additional content, and the KDL32WD603 has this fantastic feature available out of the box.The set features two HDMI sockets, as well as two USB inputs. Those USB sockets are all set for USB HDD recording, allowing the connection of up to a 2TB hard disc drive for recording content on the fly, or even set recordings for shows that are on at a later time.

Last but not least, Sony have used their tried-and-tested S-Master on-board sound processing. A separate TV soundbar or home cinema system can be connected by the TV’s digital or analogue audio outputs, and this will give a huge boost, but the inbuilt speakers still manage to offer crisp dialogue and decent bass for such a svelte TV.
