This week’s Richer Unsigned ‘Artist of the Week’ is Bournemouth blues rock band The Villanovas with their track Honest Man.
Honest Man is full of amazing guitar riffs and variations between harsh and softer vocals, provided by main vocalist and lead guitarist Brett Smith-Daniels. The chorus provides a sense of classic rock with the drums and guitars working together perfectly to create a positive and cheerful feeling. The vocals of the rest of the band in the background create a nicer and more fluid sound.
The Villanovas were The Blues Magazine’s Band To Watch for 2015, and they were the winners of The Larmer Tree Festival Breakthrough Artist Award 2015, so they’re definitely a band to keep an eye on in the future.
